Renaissance Apartments
Renaissance Apartments provides 101 single room units (SRO) for former homeless adults. On site supportive services include employment education and training, job readiness, employment referrals and retention, health and wellness support including continued recovery support, nutrition education, mental and physical health services and general management of life skills.
The units are completely furnished with twin size bed, dresser, wardrobe, table and chairs. In additions, each unit has it own stove, refrigerator, tub and/or shower. New residents are presented with a welcome package that provides linen, cook and serving ware.
TRC also provides an education and employment center, equipped with a computer learnign area and library for its residents. A professional clothes closet is maintained to ensure proper attire is available to its residents during their employment search. Laundry facilities are also available on site.
The Fitness for Life Center is currently under lease to the Metro YMCA and supports the recreational and physical health needs of the community at large. It includes a gym, swimming pool, and other amenities. In addition, Wabash Y offers after-school programming.
