We are committed to providing volunteer opportunities to anyone passionate about helping others, regardless of availability and past experience. Below are some ways you may volunteer but if you have a particular skill you’d like to use we are open to discussing special volunteer projects!

Board Service
The TRC Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring effective and fiscally sound programs and operations by providing vision, leadership, advice and direction. Board members must fulfill certain qualifications and membership applications are approved by the entire board. Click here to download the board information kit & application.
Internships
Must be a current student in an undergraduate or graduate program
TRC is offering unpaid, credit fulfilling internships on a case-by-case basis in 2026 for students seeking work experience relevant to their degree-seeking field. Internships are available in the fields of fundraising, events, and communications. Contact info@trcwabash.org for more information.

Opportunity not listed here? TRC is exploring additional ways to provide on-site and external site based volunteer opportunities in 2026. From donations of items like “welcome” kits for new residents to hosting a gardening workshop, we receive requests for resident support every day.
